manual Workaround:

1) Open the sharepoint library containing your xl/powerpivot file

2) Klick in context-menu "Manage PowerPivot Datarefresh"

3) Click "configure schedule"

4) Under "Schedule Details" select "also refresh as soon as possible"

5) Click OK

6) Data will refresh the next few seconds (independed of configured schedule)
